Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity that fits your busy schedule? ACC Senior Services offers flexible volunteer opportunities through our Senior Escort Program (SEP) and CHAT (Conversations Helping Adults Thrive) Program.
SEP pairs volunteers with seniors for friendly neighborhood walks, while CHAT connects volunteers with seniors through regular phone conversations. Whether you prefer in-person or virtual volunteering, there’s an opportunity for you.
With flexible scheduling available Monday through Saturday (SEP) and Monday through Friday (CHAT), volunteering can easily fit around school, extracurricular activities, sports, and family commitments.
Not only will you gain valuable communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that look great on college, scholarship, and job applications, but you’ll also make a lasting impact in a senior’s life. Many older adults experience loneliness and social isolation, and a simple walk or conversation can brighten their day, boost their well-being, and help them stay connected to their community.
